Asado at the Vines of Mendoza
The highlight of my Argentine wine tasting experience was an asado with the makers of Recuerdo Wines at the Vines of Mendoza vineyards in Mendoza, Argentina. Located in Uco Valley, the landscape is blanketed with grape vines through which the peaks of the Andes emerge and tower in the sky. Valley de Uco is also where the grapes for my favorite Argentine wines are grown.
